Letter of Support for Faw Side

1. Faw Side will deliver 200 jobs in construction , engineering and associated support industries and services;
2. The Faw Side project will help Scotland achieve its 2020 and 2030 renewable energy and carbon reduction targets supporting the battle against climate change;
3. The wind farm is appropriately sited in an area where the wind resource is high and a significant distance from local villagers;
4. The wind farm will bring energy stability with battery storage to Scotland, reducing the need to import energy and allow export of low carbon electricity to England;
5. The project will provide valuable opportunities to local communities, in a variety of areas including educations and community initiatives which will benefit our resident and future generations
6. Consent for Faw Side would bring substantial investment to the local, regional and Scottish economy with contracts allocated to local and Scottish businesses and suppliers.
